Marianne earned her Bachelors and Master’s degrees in piano performance from Indiana University as a student of Dr. Karen Shaw. She completed her post graduate work at the Juilliard School on the Professional Studies program studying piano with Irwin Freundlich, Jacob Lateiner, and German Diez. In 1979, Ms. Lauffer joined the teaching staff of Westminster Conservatory and the community music school of Westminster Choir College. She has many professional accomplishments and involvements, continues to perform as an accompanist and chamber musician in the tri-state area, and has maintained a private piano studio in Ewing Township since 1980.
